Choose the changes that suit the person and their home. The brochure includes product examples for each solution; the final setup follows the assessment and installation requirements.
Turn the bedroom light on or off without getting out of bed. Battery-free wireless switches can sit beside the bed, at the door or on a key fob, with several switches controlling the same light.
Soft lighting helps show the way from bed to bathroom. Movement-sensing night lights and hallway sensors switch lighting on automatically, so there is less need to search for a switch in the dark.
Move switches and power points to heights recommended by the occupational therapist. Large rocker switches, contrasting plates, bedside USB charging and extra outlets can make everyday tasks easier and reduce trailing leads.
Install power where it is needed for ceiling hoists, adjustable beds, scooter and wheelchair charging, and automatic door operators. AirSync coordinates the electrical work with the equipment supplier or installer.
Use light and vibration alongside sound. Linked smoke alarms, strobe and bed-shaker alerts, and flashing doorbells can support people who are deaf, hard of hearing or sleep without hearing aids. AirSync tests the installation and explains how it works.
Add brighter lighting, automatic light sensors and humidity-sensing exhaust fans. AirSync handles the electrical side of accessible bathroom work, including fittings suited to the relevant wet-area zones.
A straightforward process for occupational therapists, support coordinators, plan managers and families.
